no kids, no regrets… still anxious

Therapy for successful women, childfree by choice.

SCROLL DOWN

no kids, no regrets… still anxious

Therapy for successful women, childfree by choice.

I help driven, childfree women like you untangle anxiety, exhaustion, and the weight of others’ expectations.

We’ll rebuild your inner foundation so you can grow a life that honors your freedom, your values, and your fierce independence.

Are you feeling any of the following?:

  • The pressure to justify your childfree choice — to family, friends, and even yourself

  • Feeling isolated or misunderstood because your life looks different from “the norm”

  • High-functioning anxiety that never lets up, even when you’ve checked all the boxes

  • Lonely and frustrated after personal relationships keep shifting because all your friends keep having babies

  • The endless hustle to prove your worth, while secretly craving peace and belonging

  • Burnout from carrying too much—professional success, emotional labor, and cultural judgment

How therapy can help:

With a compassionate, no-BS approach we’ll work together to:

  • Heal deep-rooted anxiety and overwhelm so you can finally rest without guilt

  • Identify and nurture the parts of you that crave connection, freedom, and authenticity

  • Set clear boundaries that protect your time and energy without shame

  • Embrace your choice to be childfree as a bold, powerful part of your identity—not a source of guilt or loneliness

  • Grow self-compassion and fierce inner strength that supports your wholehearted life

Whether you’re brand new to therapy (welcome!) or have had a long string of mediocre therapists (maybe even very good ones), I work with folks in a down-to-earth way to make practical and sustainable changes in your life. Sure, I use a bunch of evidenced based therapy modalities (and never ending acronyms) like EMDR, CBT, IFS that will help us along our journey. But leave the silly therapy acronyms to me, and just focus on the the life you want to have on the other side of our time working together.

Thriving in a world that questions your choices and demands perfection takes a toll. You deserve a therapist who gets the layers of your experience — your ambition, your anxiety, and your unapologetic choice to live life your way.

EMDR

EMDR

Life can throw us curveballs when we least expect it—a sudden loss, a big change, or a tough event can leave us feeling stuck or overwhelmed. That’s where EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can help.

EMDR is a simple and effective way to work through the emotional weight of unexpected changes and past traumas. Using techniques like guided eye movements or gentle tapping, EMDR helps your brain process tough experiences so they don’t feel as overwhelming. It’s not about erasing memories—it’s about changing how they affect you so you can move forward with more clarity and calm.

This approach is especially helpful if you’re dealing with:

  • A sudden loss or major life change

  • A breakup, divorce, or relationship shift

  • A health scare or accident

  • Job or financial challenges

  • Any other event that turned your world upside down

We’ll work together in a safe, supportive space to help you feel more grounded and in control. EMDR is about giving you the tools to handle life’s ups and downs and find your footing again.

I have completed EMDR Basic Training- Parts 1 & 2 (40 hours) in 2024 through the EMDR Institute, Founded by Francine Shapiro.

You can learn more about EMDR here.

Walk & Talk Therapy- Outside!!

Walk & Talk Therapy- Outside!!

Study after study has shown the benefits of walking in nature. Even The New York Times highlighted this and the physical effects on your brain from just spending some time (even 30 minutes) in nature. Walking can help relieve stress, lower levels of depression and improve physical fitness and overall health. But I know that sometimes (especially when the weather is not ideal), getting up and out of the house can be challenge enough. I offer this non-traditional service to improve health and wellness (both physical and mental).

Current offerings include (subject to scheduling, get in touch today & we’ll figure out something that works!):

  • Kingston Rail Trail (Kingston, NY)- approximately 2 miles, flexible

  • Ferncliff Forrest (Rhinebeck, NY)- approximately 2 miles

  • Ashokan Rail Trail (West Hurley, NY)- distance flexible

Therapy for Anxiety

Therapy for Anxiety

for anxious millennials and all the other anxious folx…

Anxiety has become common place in (post?) pandemic-life. Pop culture thinks it’s funny or cliche- there’s even a new song about it. And the current events and non-stop horrors of the world should make people anxious- that means you are human. But it’s rough out there- you don’t have to struggle with anxiety and have it take over your life. And you sure as hell don’t have to struggle with it alone. There are many things that can help: running, therapy, mindfulness…. to name a few.

Sometimes anxiety can be helpful. Anxiety is a key that something may be off, an internal warning system… and there are times when you might need to listen to your gut and anxiety alarm bells, and it can be useful. But, for most, anxiety can be too much- overwhelming, exhausting and negatively impacting your day to day enjoyment and productivity.

I work with folks in New York and New Jersey to help lower anxiety levels and find greater fulfillment. There can be many known reasons for anxiety (career or other transitions, being single and wanting a partner, navigating life in the city, etc), but anxiety can also pop up with no clear reason. Either way, we can work together to figure it out and find a sustainable way to make changes.
